I'm in Miami for work this week, and my boss and I came here for dinner tonight, since our conference is at the hotel. Definitely make sure to get a reservation - he snagged one by asking them earlier today, apparently, but OpenTable also has them. We had a 6pm reservation and when I checked closer to 3-4pm, it said all reservations were taken for that evening. As others have noted in their reviews, they bring you complimentary fries for the table, with three different dipping sauces, which was fun and unique. My boss ordered the miso sea bass, I believe it was, and I ordered the filet. It was very good, and tender, although I wish I got it with a sauce (+$5), as that would have enhanced the flavor. Waitservice was also excellent. Again as others have noted, it can get quite loud inside the restaurant, but when we arrived at 6pm (it opened at 6pm), it was quieter, which was nice. Also be aware that they add a 20% tip to the bill, which the waiter did inform us of. Prices are expensive here but that's unsurprising because a) it's a hotel restaurant and b) it's a Michael Mina restaurant. That being said, I thought service was great and so was the food, and I would go back again when in the area.

I absolutely love this spot. Very cozy and upscale. Perfect for happy hour, date night or girls night. They offer us complimentary serving of their signature fries. It was so yummy! The salmon was very well seasoned and cooked.

Had bad experience here. Didn't want to come back but was talked into it. So glad I did! From drinks (old fashioned and Dragon Breath?) IMPRESSED! Service was stellar (Arturo and team) one of the best filet's I've had. They provided a beautiful steak knife which makes a huge difference. How can a simple baked potato be EXCELLENT? I don't know. Maybe it was the house made bacon (?) anchovies on Caesar nice touch and Arturo split our salad and potato and didn't need to. BONUS. I had the steak tartare. (See pics) wine list is great and I did confess to Arturo our bad experience at Thanksgiving and he brought us a dessert (even under protest). To DIE for the caramel ice cream on the toffee (?) Crumble. Run. Dont walk. So good.

What a terrific experience! The service was exceptional from the minute we sat down. Our server was friendly and very willing to answer all our questions. We loved that they told us the table was ours the whole night. The staff was great, the water glasses were always full and the table clean. The somalier was very helpful. They bring fries with different sauces instead of bread and I LOVED that. Now on to the food. WOW! It was better than I expected. We had the bone marrow which I highly recommend. I had sea bass as my main did, the fish was very well cooked and served in a broth that was very tasty. We also ordered several different steaks that were delicious according to the meat eaters. Yes, it's a bit pricey but you only live once.

By far this is the best restaurant in Aventura and probably Michael Mina's best. The food is GREAT but it is the consistency of service that makes this restaurant stand apart. I mostly sit at the bar and all the bartenders are beyond spectacular. Ambiance is a little dark but lit well enough to create unforgettable memories that paired with a wine recommended by Giuseppe Hernandez will make your evening a 20/10.

We came here last minute for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was empty so I was fairly quick service. Our waiter was prompt and attentive and they even gave me a birthday card. How thoughtful! My husband had the pastrami short rib, my daughter had the skirt steak, my son the filet mignon and I had the Amish chicken. For our sides we had the trip, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. My chicken came out cold and despite their attempt to warm it up, it was still cold. Otherwise the service was good. We ordered two desserts, one being the brown butter cake and the key lime pie. Our food was good, however To be honest, I feel that this restaurant is overpriced. Overall it was a great night!
